Rays of Sunshine works with children across the UK living with a serious or life-limiting condition, by making their wishes come true. Whatever the wish, Rays of Sunshine woks hard to make that wish come true.
Since Rays of Sunshine was setup in 2003, 5500 individual wishes have been granted.
Wishes include: individual wishes, however impossible the wish may seem, ward wishes and organising events and outings for large groups of seriously ill children.
Lauren, 9, from Barrhead in Glasgow was born prematurely at just 27 weeks. She spent the first year of her life in hospital and now lives with several health complications. Rays of Sunshine made Lauren's dream come true by enabling her to meet a real life mermaid on the banks of Loch Lomand.
Ruby, 8, from Rochester in Kent lives with Cystic Fibrosis as well as various other complications. Rays of Sunshine fulfilled Ruby's greatest dreams come true by putting her and her mum in a posh London hotel so they could enjoy a fashion makeover and photoshoot.
Help us to raise money for Rays of Sunshine
Here at Patisserie de Bain we have a mission as part of our Make Life Sweet campaign to raise money for Rays of Sunshine. So 50p for every Patisserie de Bain product bought on www.roseandcompany.com will be donated to the charity. As well as this, we'll be raising money through fundraising - our aim is to raise £10,000 in total. You can also help raise money by donating directly to our Just Giving account.
